On 20th July, the CoD CSP Chair, Enrique de Obarrio met with the Panamanian Foreign Affairs Minister, Janaina Tewayne Mencomo and the Deputy Minister, Vladimir Franco Sousa. In this meeting, De Obarrio presented the future projects of the Latin American Network of Democracy and also, the work done and the coming activities of  the Community of Democracies Civil Society Pillar in favour of democracy promotion. We are also pleased to announce the participation of the Minister, Janaina Tewaney Mencomo, in our Civil Society Pillar Annual meeting, who on 1st August, will speak about fostering democratic consolidation in difficult times.
